The way things are heading, food shortage is soon going to become the number one challenge for most countries around the world with more agricultural land becoming a part of the ever growing cities and unless governments take some drastic measures, we could witness the majority of the world’s population staring at a food shortage crisis.

I have been told by an economist that prices will exactly double every five years and this pay commission report will in fact hike up prices across all sectors.

As we become crowded and as the populations across the globe increase, so as the demand for food supply. But with the scarcity of resources brought by several factors, prices of the necessary goods are expected to rise.
It is about time to practice conservation of our natural resources and to maximize our farmlands for cheap commodities that can substitute the main crops. The most affected nations are those who depend so much from international aids.
